Faux leather
Durable, easy-care faux leather with a hard-wearing surface. The fabric is moisture-repellent and easy to clean. The fabric used is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853).
Nonwoven bottom material
For this KUDDE cover, a nonwoven fabric is also used as the bottom material. The bottom material used is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853).
Foam core
The foam core supports the body with targeted elasticity and provides pressure-relieving support while lying down. Depending on the version, conventional or memory foam is used. The foam used comes from production certified according to OEKO-TEX® STeP (OETI, Cert. No. 22000745).
Oxford performance fabric (SVALA cooling insert)
The surface is made of high-quality, water-repellent Oxford fabric (high-quality polyester). The special three-layer construction, consisting of a top layer, middle layer, and bottom layer, provides optimal stability and makes the material ideal for everyday use.
Intelligent cooling gel (SVALA cooling insert)
Inside the insert, a special cooling gel ensures effective heat absorption and transfer. Thanks to its internal structure with a leak-proof composite design, it provides hours of cooling comfort (depending on the ambient temperature), with no external cooling required. It is activated by the dog’s body weight.
The filling material is sodium polyacrylate—a superabsorbent polymer also used in cooling pads for sports injuries.
Suitable for allergy sufferers
The material does not provide a suitable habitat for fleas or mites, making it ideal for allergy sufferers and sensitive dogs.
Anatomical
Our products take your pet’s anatomy into account, meaning the structure and composition of its body. The anatomically correct design makes a major contribution to keeping your beloved pet healthy. The SVALA cooling insert also supports thermoregulation and is particularly soothing for senior dogs or dogs with joint problems that suffer in the heat.
For older dogs
Ideal for older dogs and dogs with osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, or heavy breeds. Lying down does not cause pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area. The cooling insert also ensures on hot days that heat-sensitive seniors receive optimal care.
Faux leather care
Wipe with water or a mild detergent. For particularly good results, we recommend the KUDDE special cleaner. Note: Please do not clean in the washing machine.
SVALA cooling insert care
Dirt can easily be wiped off with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Note: The cooling insert is not suitable for use in a washing machine or dryer!
Foam care
The foam core must not be washed or dried. If it comes into contact with liquid, allow it to dry completely before using it again.
Cooling insert usage information
If the insert is exposed to extreme heat (e.g. direct sunlight), let it rest briefly in the shade so that the gel can regenerate and restore its full cooling performance.
Faux leather information
Please do not expose the faux leather cover to direct sunlight for extended periods (e.g. in a conservatory or near a large window). Intense UV radiation can dry out or discolor the material over time or damage the surface.
Cooling insert safety information
The insert is robustly constructed, but not bite- or scratch-resistant. Please do not allow your dog to use the insert unsupervised. If damaged, remove it from use immediately and do not continue using it. The filling material should not be swallowed.
