The KUDDE Outdoor dog bed is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to give their dog the best comfort in the garden, on the balcony or when camping. This high-quality dog bed was specially developed for outdoor use.
The hard-wearing cover is water and dirt repellent and has excellent lightfastness – meaning the color will last a long time even in direct sunlight. Cleaning is effortless by simply wiping with a damp cloth. If necessary, you can remove the cover and clean it in the washing machine.
The heart of the dog bed is the innovative outdoor foam made from open-pored, water-permeable special foam – a material from the human sector. The foam is dimensionally stable, yet comfortable and gives your dog the best lying comfort. If moisture gets inside the core, it can quickly escape again through the open cell structure. This keeps the dog bed always hygienic and dry.
Like all KUDDE models, the dog bed is ergonomically designed and helps to relieve the joints and spine of your dog – ideal for older animals, large breeds or dogs that need special support.

Outdoor cover material
The material consists of 100% solution-dyed acrylic—a particularly durable outdoor material with excellent colorfastness (lightfastness rating 7–8), high abrasion resistance, and a pleasant feel. The fabric is also water- and dirt-repellent, easy to care for, and especially pet-friendly.
Outdoor foam
The core of the KUDDE Outdoor dog bed consists of specially reticulated foam. This open-cell foam is particularly water-permeable and fast-drying, allowing any moisture that has penetrated to escape quickly. When used correctly, the foam is mold-resistant and ensures good air circulation inside. It retains its shape and elasticity over the long term.

Suitable for allergy sufferers
The material does not provide a suitable habitat for fleas and mites and is therefore ideal for allergy sufferers and sensitive dogs.
Cleaning the outdoor fabric
The cover can simply be wiped with a damp cloth and mild cleaning detergent or machine-washed at up to 30 °C on a gentle cycle. It can also be disinfected if necessary. Caution: Test it first on an inconspicuous area!

Cleaning the outdoor foam
The outdoor foam core is particularly robust and easy to care for. To ensure its longevity, it should be aired out thoroughly on a regular basis—ideally by standing the dog bed upright with the zipper open, so that moisture can also escape from the bottom and mold does not form. Due to its open-cell structure, the foam dries quickly and prevents moisture from accumulating. Avoid using harsh cleaning products or exposing it to direct heat!

Usage instructions
The fabric and core are specially designed for outdoor use—similar to high-quality garden furniture cushions. However, this does not mean that the bed can withstand all weather conditions indefinitely. Prolonged exposure to wet conditions, rain, or moisture (e.g. fog) can eventually damage even the best material. We therefore recommend not leaving the dog bed outside unprotected for extended periods and airing it out thoroughly after exposure to moisture (e.g. by standing it upright). Please note that only the complete KUDDE Outdoor—that is, the combination of the special outdoor core and matching outdoor cover—is suitable for outdoor use. The outdoor cover alone does not make a standard KUDDE weatherproof. Likewise, the special outdoor core can be used with other KUDDE covers—but only indoors. Important: KUDDE Outdoor is not suitable as an incontinence pad. Although the water-repellent cover protects against moisture, urine can penetrate the material and leave permanent odors!
To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail. This measurement must not exceed the size of the lying surface!

Frequently asked questions about the KUDDE Outdoor dog bed
The KUDDE outdoor dog bed is made of a high-quality material similar to that used for garden cushions. It is water- and dirt-repellent and can occasionally get wet. However, it is important to air out the bed thoroughly after exposure to moisture to prevent any moisture from remaining inside. We recommend not exposing the dog bed to the elements permanently in order to ensure the material’s longevity.
The underside of the cover is made of our robust outdoor fabric, just like the top. It is waterproof and reliably protects the dog bed from below. The underside is always in the color Ash, a dark gray.
Since the material allows very little moisture to pass through, it is important to air the bed thoroughly and regularly—ideally by opening the zipper and standing the bed upright. This allows any trapped moisture to escape and prevents mold.
The cover of the KUDDE Outdoor is removable and can generally also be replaced. You can therefore easily put standard KUDDE covers on the Outdoor core. Please note, however, that the weatherproof properties are only guaranteed with the special Outdoor cover. With a standard cover, the dog bed is not suitable for outdoor use. The Outdoor cover is currently not available separately.
The KUDDE Outdoor dog bed is not suitable as an incontinence pad. Although the cover is water-repellent, urine can penetrate the material and cause unpleasant odors. For incontinent dogs, we recommend specially designed products.
