Even when wet, the material remains pleasantly soft and flexible, without hardening. The Scandinavian cowhide in the slip area provides an extra portion of safety. Like all our slip collars, the Outdoor collar also has a unique safety system and reliably prevents slipping out in moments of fright. And that, even though you can easily slip the collar over the head. The collar sits loosely around the neck and tightens when needed to the integrated stop. Of course, your dog still has enough space, but only so much that he cannot slip out.
The slip area is additionally reinforced with sturdy cowhide. The leather comes from sustainable, Scandinavian breeding and was already treated with oils during the tanning process. This way, your Outdoor slip collar remains dimensionally stable even with regular contact with water - without hardening. These connecting pieces are also reinforced with webbing and sewn with high-quality English saddlery thread. Outdoor rope material
100% PES fiber manufactured in Germany and specially twisted for SABRO. When wet and subsequently dried, PES fibers do not become stiff like commercially available polyamide, for example, but always remain supple and comfortable to handle.
Leather
Our leather comes exclusively from Scandinavia. By law, all farm animals there must be kept in accordance with their welfare needs and even have daily access to pasture. By choosing a leather product from SABRO, you are therefore also supporting animal-friendly farming practices. Our moose leather used for all soft padding is also grade 1. We exclusively use leather from wild moose in the Scandinavian forests, sourced from the annually authorized cull.
Brass
All hardware (buckles, rings, etc.) is made of pure brass and does not rust.
Suitable for allergy sufferers
Ideal for dogs with allergies – contains no nickel.
Leather care
Hand wash only with mild detergent or wool detergent. This item is not suitable for machine washing or the dishwasher. You can freshen up the leather areas from time to time with suitable leather cleaning products. For additional care, we recommend our Tapir leather grease. Apply a thin layer to the leather areas and polish off any excess.
Brass care
If a light patina has formed on your brass fittings, you can polish it off at any time using apple cider vinegar or a silver polishing cloth.
Use
Recommended for everyday use. For strong, heavy dogs or dogs prone to pulling hard, we recommend using a collar specially adapted to your needs.
