Material components of the KUDDE
The KUDDE consists of various individual components whose materials have been carefully tested:
- Artificial leather: The outer fabric used is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853).
- Spunbond: The material used as the bottom fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853).
- Foam core: The foam used is manufactured in a production facility certified according to OEKO-TEX® STeP (OETI, Cert. No. 22000745).
HYGGE PAD insert material
Our HYGGE PAD insert has a particularly soft upper side made of vegan plush fur. It consists of 100% polyester, is lined with fluffy fleece, and has an anti-slip coating on the underside. The HYGGE Pad is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (Hohenstein HTTI, Cert. No. A21-1280).
Materials Schmusehörnchen Alltid
For the Schmusehörnchen, we use textiles whose individual components have been tested:
- Alltid fabric: The outer fabric (100% polyester) is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (Hohenstein, Cert. No. 17.0.24430).
- Protective cover: The water-repellent inner cover protects the filling and is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853). Note: Not protection against incontinence.
- Filling: Filled with siliconized visco wadding (must not be washed!).
Suitable for allergy sufferers
The material does not provide a suitable habitat for fleas and mites, making it ideal for allergy sufferers and sensitive dogs.

For older dogs
Ideal for older dogs and dogs with osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, or heavy dog breeds. No pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area (the heaviest point) caused by lying down.
Care instructions for faux leather
Wipe with water or a mild cleaning agent. For particularly good results, we recommend the KUDDE special cleaner. Note: Please do not clean in the washing machine and do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods (e.g. conservatory) to protect the material.
Care instructions for textiles (HYGGE PAD & Alltid)
Our textile covers are machine washable:
- HYGGE PAD: Machine washable on a gentle cycle at up to 40 °C. Please do not use fabric softener and set the spin speed to a maximum of 800 rpm.
- Alltid cuddle horn cover: Also washable at 40 °C.
- Dryer: Both items are suitable for tumble drying at a low temperature.
Care instructions for protective cover, filling & foam
- Protective cover (horn): Wipe with water and a mild cleaner. Please do not wash or dry. Not protection against incontinence.
- Core & filling: The foam core and horn-shaped filling must not be washed or dried. If the foam becomes damp, allow it to dry completely in the air.

To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail. This measurement must not exceed the size of the sleeping area!
Each KUDDE dog bed has its own foam density, which is suitable only for the dog size and weight it is intended for.
