Tips & Hints
Important note: Even if your liability insurance says that bitless riding is insured, the law says otherwise! The participation in public traffic is only allowed with a snaffle. If you have any questions about this, it is best to contact your insurance company directly.
Please clean your Barock Hackamore only with our saddle soap - just spray it on and wipe the product with a damp microfiber cloth. Then rub dry. Please do not oil the leather before use! Our leather is soft and supple and has already been oiled during the tanning process.
If you want to care for the leather after cleaning, we recommend our leather balm, simply apply a thin layer, polish off any excess.
Please do not use oil! It literally drowns the leather. The pores close and the leather can no longer "breathe".
Please also refrain from using the following or similar products: Vaseline, Nivea cream, shoe cream, Ballistol oil etc. - none of these products will prolong the life of one of our leather products! Less care is often more!
