Description
In terms of structure, the SABRO Sidepull is similar to a halter. It fits loosely on the horse's head and provides a gentle and even distribution of pressure without forcing. The patented ear cutouts provide a pinch-free fit on your horse's sensitive ear bumps. The Sidepull is a gentle, bitless alternative for all riding styles!

- Patented ear cut-outs ensure a clamp-free fit
- The SABRO Sidepull is made of glove-soft cowhide leather and is padded in the forehead area with the finest Scandinavian elk leather of commercial class 1
- The leather is stitched on both sides - standard snaffles consist of only one leather layer / recognizable by the rough leather underside
- The straps running from the noseband upwards sit further apart on the SABRO sidepull - so no strap runs too close to the eye!
- The fittings are made of either pure brass or stainless steel. Of course we do not use nickel at all, so all SABRO snaffles are suitable for allergy sufferers
- Due to a special tanning process with high-quality oils, the leather of the snaffle does not harden even in contact with water
- For the seams we use only the best saddler's thread from England. It consists of a strong, 100% synthetic fiber and does not swell when wet
Tips & Hints
Important note: Even if your liability insurance says that bitless riding is insured, the law says otherwise! The participation in public traffic is only allowed with a snaffle. If you have questions about this, it is best to contact your insurance company directly.
Please clean your sidepull only with our saddle soap - just spray it on and wipe the product with a damp microfiber cloth. Then rub dry. Please do not oil the leather before use! Our leather is soft and supple and has already been oiled during the tanning process.
If you want to care for the leather after cleaning, we recommend our leather balm, simply apply a thin layer, polish off any excess.
Please do not use oil! It literally drowns the leather. The pores close and the leather can no longer "breathe".
Please also refrain from using the following or similar products: Vaseline, Nivea cream, shoe cream, Ballistol oil etc. - none of these products will prolong the life of one of our leather products! Less care is often more!
