At their core, both beds are the same, differing only in the chosen cover. Both the artificial leather and the suede look are super easy to clean and dirt and moisture repellent. To prevent your dog from cooling down on the artificial leather, we recommend that you always use an insert or a cover. That's why we always give you a free Hygge Pad with every order when you buy a KUDDE® dog bed with faux leather. Our suede look comes all on its own. You can of course order an insert or cover if required, but we do not include the Hygge Pad free of charge.
Due to the inconspicuous and robust material, we like to recommend the suede look for scrapers and diggers.
Yes, you can add a new cover to your KUDDE at any time. It doesn't matter whether you already have a bed with a faux leather or fabric cover at home.
A faux leather, suede-look or protective cover always serves as the base. If you order a new fabric cover for your KUDDE, you pull it over the existing base cover. If you order a new faux leather cover, you must first remove the old base cover. All covers can be combined with any KUDDE dog bed.
No, unfortunately that is not possible.
The Moomin insert and Jokkmokk mattress differ in size. Therefore, you can only combine the covers here with the matching mat. However, we make sure that we offer all fabric variants for both products.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer you replacement covers for these two dog beds.
No, the Hygge Pad is a "fixed" insert, you cannot remove or replace it.

That's why a place for your four-legged family member to sleep is essential to ensure they feel comfortable and stay healthy for a long time. Why a replacement cover for the dog bed?
Replacement covers have several advantages. First of all, the sleeping area is protected and therefore lasts longer. The covers can be easily changed and adapted to the seasons. In summer, a cooler fabric made from our Alltid material is pleasant, in winter it can be cozy and fluffy with SilkTouch or Mynki.
Depending on their size and material, dog beds are bulky and do not fit in the washing machine. A cover ensures good hygiene here. If you have several spare covers in the house, you can simply put on a fresh cover and wash the used one. Your dog doesn't have to wait until the old cover is dry again.
Replacement covers also help to protect the environment. The dog can use its bed for longer as the cover protects it.
What makes a good replacement cover
The production of a high-quality replacement cover begins with the selection of an attractive and hard-wearing fabric. This is optimally processed so that it fits perfectly with the corresponding product - nothing flaps around or stretches.
It is important that covers are easy to wash. After all, the practicality of replacing a used cover with a clean one is the main reason why we have several covers.

If the cover of your KUDDE dog bed wears out over time, you can get a replacement made of high-quality imitation leather and imitation suede here. The easy-care and low-noise KUDDE artificial leather covers, artificial leather covers in pastel colorsand KUDDE covers in suede look are suitable for our KUDDE dog bed with the two different foam types KUDDE Standard and KUDDE Special.

We also have two covers available for the Moomin insert for the KUDDE dog bed - a replacement Moomin Alltid cover for the summer and the cozy Moomin Mynkifleece cover for cold days.
If you spend a lot of time outdoors or in the car with your dog, the Jokkmokk outdoor lounger mat may also need a new protective cover. This cover is made of artificial leather, can be wiped clean and is quiet.
