After a long day outdoors, your dog should be able to truly settle into their KUDDE or ERK dog bed. The MUMIN Torka insert makes this possible: it fits precisely into the lying surface and gives the dog bed an extra layer of comfort with moisture-absorbing properties.
The MUMIN Torka insert consists of a 3 cm thick memory foam core, a water-repellent protective cover, and the terry-cloth outer cover. The Torka cover feels like a soft towel, while the long, fine terry loops absorb moisture and help the coat dry faster. The memory foam core underneath does its job precisely: It adapts to the shape of the body, distributes weight evenly, and relieves pressure on the joints and spine.
The terry-cloth cover is removable and machine washable.

Torka material
Our high-quality terry cloth is made of 100% polyester (PES). The looped fiber structure gives the cover an especially soft feel while providing high absorbency. The fabric is suitable for allergy sufferers.
Viscoelastic foam core & protective cover
The foam core of the MUMIN insert, including its protective cover, is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (Hohenstein HTTI, certificate no. A21-1280). The thermoelastic viscoelastic foam adapts to body heat and enables pressure-relieving lying. This particularly supports older dogs and dogs with joint problems. Note: The protective cover does not provide incontinence protection. The foam core is not washable.

Our products take your pet’s anatomy into account, meaning the structure and composition of its body. The anatomically correct design makes a major contribution to keeping your beloved pet healthy.
Suitable for allergy sufferers
The material does not provide a suitable habitat for fleas and mites, making it ideal for allergy sufferers and sensitive dogs.
For older dogs
Ideal for older dogs and dogs with osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, or large breeds. No pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area from lying down.
Torka fabric care
Machine washable at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Fully close the zippers before washing. Gentle tumble drying at a moderate temperature is possible. Do not iron, bleach, or use fabric softener.
Water-repellent protective cover
Wipe with water and mild detergent. Please do not wash or dry. Note: Not suitable for incontinence protection.
Foam care
The foam core must not be washed in any way. If it gets wet, it may be damaged.
Usage instructions
The Torka cover must always be used over the water-repellent protective cover. This is the only way to keep the foam core permanently protected.
