The new bouclé cover brings structure, style and an extra dose of coziness into play. The surface feels soft and inviting and is extremely hard-wearing at the same time - ideal for everyday life with a dog. The cover is removable, washable and particularly easy to care for thanks to its densely textured surface.
Inside, the tried-and-tested KUDDE foam core provides orthopaedic support. The side edges are stable but pleasantly soft and support the head and neck when snoozing. The lying surface relieves pressure on the joints, spine and muscles - particularly beneficial for older or sensitive dogs.

Bouclé material
Our high-quality bouclé fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester (rPES). The elegant loop structure gives the cover a particularly soft feel - while at the same time being highly durable. The fabric is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, REACH-compliant and scores highly:

- Pleasantly soft but sturdy - ideal for everyday life with a dog

Water-repellent protective cover
The additional protective cover lies under the bouclé fabric cover and protects the foam from moisture and dirt. Attention: No incontinence protection!
Foam dog bed KUDDE
We use high-quality and environmentally friendly foam. Complies with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1, fine, neutral odor, perfect body support, long life and good ventilation. Only water-soluble glue is used - no evaporation or unpleasant odors. The foam is available in two versions: KUDDE Standard and KUDDE Special. Both in mattress quality, the KUDDE Special contains visco-foam with memory effect in the lying surface.

For old dogs
Ideal for older dogs, dogs with osteoarthritis, HD or a heavy build. No pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area - even when lying down for long periods.
Bouclé cover care
The fabric cover is machine washable at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Please close zippers completely before washing. Dry gently in the dryer at a moderate temperature. No ironing, no bleaching, no fabric softener.
Water-repellent protective cover
The protective cover can be wiped clean with water and a mild detergent - please do not wash or dry. Attention: Not suitable for incontinence!
Foam care
The foam core must not be washed or dried. If it comes into contact with liquid, allow it to dry completely before using it again!
Application note
Fabric covers must always be fitted over a base cover (artificial leather, vegan suede or rubberized protective cover) to protect the foam core from moisture and dirt. The water-repellent protective cover is automatically included with KUDDE fabric beds.

To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. This measurement should not exceed the size of the lying surface!
Each KUDDE dog bed has its own foam density, which is only suitable for the intended dog size and weight.
The examples of breeds given are for guidance only. There may be individual differences and deviations within a breed.

Frequently asked questions about the KUDDE dog bed
Our foam cores are made from mattress-quality cold foam and are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. The cores are manufactured in Germany and are odorless. Because we are convinced of the stability of the core, we offer a 10-year guarantee on both variants. The guarantee does not apply if the foam core is damaged due to external influences or incorrect use (e.g. scratching, biting, excessive weight for the selected size, etc.).
The special foam is additionally refined with memory visco foam in the lying surface. This foam reacts to body heat and adapts to the shape of your dog's bed. This allows your dog to lie completely pressure-relieved. This foam is particularly useful for older dogs and those with back problems, HD, osteoarthritis or similar.
Tip: If you have a standard foam at home and would like to offer your gray snout even more comfort, we recommend combining it with our Moomin insert.
The underside of the cover consists of a woven fabric (similar to upholstered furniture). This must be made of air-permeable material so that the air can escape from the foam core. Otherwise the KUDDE would be rock hard. The fabric also provides the necessary ventilation for the core.
Yes, you can fit your KUDDE with a new cover at any time. The artificial leather, suede-look or protective cover always serves as the basis. If you order a fabric cover for your KUDDE, you simply pull it over the existing cover. If you order a new faux leather cover, you must first remove the old cover. All covers can therefore be combined.
No, a free insert is not included with every KUDDE dog bed. Please check your desired product before purchasing to see whether an insert is included or must be ordered separately.
You receive the KUDDE sustainably packaged in individual parts so that we save CO2 per package. It is modular so that you can buy other covers or inserts in a few years' time.
No, unfortunately we cannot offer custom-made products due to the permanent capacity utilization of our production.
