The KUDDE Outdoor dog bed is the perfect solution for anyone who wants to give their dog the best comfort in the garden, on the balcony or when camping. The high-quality dog bed has been specially developed for outdoor use.
The hard-wearing cover is water- and dirt-repellent and has excellent lightfastness, meaning that the color is retained for a long time even when exposed to sunlight. Cleaning is effortless by simply wiping with a damp cloth. If necessary, you can remove the cover and clean it in the washing machine.
At the heart of the dog bed is the innovative outdoor foam made from an open-pored, water-permeable special foam - a material from the human sector. The foam is dimensionally stable, but at the same time cozy and gives your dog the best lying comfort. If moisture gets inside the core, it can quickly escape again thanks to the open cell structure. This keeps the dog bed hygienic and dry at all times.
Like all KUDDE models, the dog bed is ergonomically designed and helps to relieve pressure on your dog's joints and spine - ideal for older animals, large breeds or dogs that require special support.

Material outdoor cover
The material is made of 100% spun-dyed acrylic - a particularly durable outdoor material with excellent color fastness (light fastness class 7-8), high abrasion resistance and a pleasant feel. The fabric is also water and dirt repellent, easy to care for and certified to Oeko-Tex Standard 100 - particularly animal-friendly.
Outdoor foam
The core of the KUDDE Outdoor dog bed consists of a specially reticulated foam. This open-cell foam is particularly water-permeable and quick-drying, allowing any moisture that has penetrated to escape quickly. When used correctly, the foam is resistant to mold and ensures good air circulation inside. It is permanently dimensionally stable and elastic.

Suitable for allergy sufferers
Ideal for dogs with allergies - not a suitable habitat for fleas and mites, and can also be disinfected.
For old dogs
Ideal for old dogs and dogs with osteoarthritis, HD, heavy breeds. No pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area (heaviest point) due to lying down.
Cleaning outdoor cover
The cover can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent or washed in the washing machine on a gentle cycle at up to 30 °C. It can also be disinfected if necessary. If necessary, it can also be disinfected. Attention: Please test on an inconspicuous area beforehand!

Cleaning outdoor foam
The outdoor foam core is particularly robust and easy to care for. To ensure its longevity, it should be aired regularly - ideally by placing the dog bed upright with the zipper open so that moisture can also escape from the floor and no mold forms. Due to the open cell structure, the foam dries quickly and thus prevents moisture build-up. Avoid the use of aggressive cleaning agents or contact with direct heat!

Note on use
The fabric and core are specially designed for outdoor use - similar to high-quality garden furniture covers. However, this does not mean that the bed can withstand all weather conditions indefinitely. Constant wetness, rain or moisture (e.g. from fog) can damage even the best material in the long term. We therefore recommend that the dog bed is not left outside unprotected for long periods of time and that it is aired out well after exposure to moisture (e.g. upright). Please note that only the complete KUDDE Outdoor - i.e. the combination of special outdoor core and matching outdoor cover - is suitable for outdoor use. The outdoor cover alone does not make a normal KUDDE weatherproof. The special outdoor core can also be used with other KUDDE covers - but only indoors. Important: The KUDDE Outdoor is not suitable as an incontinence carpet pad. Although the water-repellent cover protects against moisture, urine can penetrate the material and leave a permanent odor!
To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. This measurement should not exceed the size of the lying surface!
Each KUDDE dog bed has its own foam density, which is only suitable for the intended dog size and weight.

Frequently asked questions about KUDDE Outdoor
The KUDDE outdoor dog bed is made of a high-quality material similar to that used for garden pads. It is water and dirt repellent and can also get wet. However, it is important that the bed is aired out well after exposure to moisture so that no moisture remains inside. We recommend that the dog bed is not permanently exposed to the weather to ensure the longevity of the material.
The underside of the cover is made of our robust outdoor fabric – just like the one above. It's waterproof and reliably protects the dog bed from underneath. The underside is always in Ash , a dark gray.
Since the material hardly allows moisture to pass through, it's important to air the bed regularly – ideally by unzipping it and standing it upright. This allows any trapped moisture to escape and prevents mold.
The cover of the KUDDE Outdoor is removable and can also be changed. This means you can easily put normal KUDDE covers on the outdoor core. Please note, however, that the weatherproof properties are only guaranteed with the special outdoor cover. The dog bed is not suitable for outdoor use with a normal cover. The outdoor cover is currently not available separately.
The KUDDE outdoor dog bed is not suitable as an incontinence pad. Although the cover is water-repellent, urine can penetrate the material and cause unpleasant odors. We recommend special products developed for incontinent dogs.
