The high-quality foam core with orthopaedic effect adapts perfectly to your dog's body and provides targeted relief for the spine and joints. This prevents pressure points, improves sleep quality and promotes long-term health. The mattress core retains its shape permanently - even with daily use.
The velvety outer cover combines comfort with design: OEKO-TEX 100 certified, hypoallergenic and wonderfully soft. At the same time, the cover is robust and easy to care for - perfect for everyday life with a dog.
A water-repellent, separate protective cover under the fabric protects the mattress core from moisture and dirt - keeping the KUDDE bed hygienically clean and durable.
Note: The KUDDE velvet is supplied without a Hygge Pad.

Foam dog bed KUDDE
We use high-quality and environmentally friendly foam. Complies with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1, fine, neutral odor, perfect body support, long life and good ventilation. Only water-soluble glue is used - no evaporation or unpleasant odors. The foam is available in two versions: KUDDE Standard and KUDDE Special. Both in mattress quality, the KUDDE Special contains visco-foam with memory effect in the lying surface.
For old dogs
Ideal for older dogs, dogs with osteoarthritis, HD or heavy builds. No pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area - even when lying down for long periods.
Water-repellent protective cover
The additional cover protects the foam core from moisture and must always be fitted under the fabric cover if no artificial leather cover is used. Attention: No incontinence protection!
Hygienically clean
The cover is washable at 40 °C and suitable for tumble drying at low temperatures.
Application
The cover must always be fitted over a water-repellent protective cover or a synthetic or suede-look cover.

The protective cover can be wiped clean with water and a mild detergent - please do not wash or dry.

To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. This measurement should not exceed the size of the lying surface!
Each KUDDE dog bed has its own foam density, which is only suitable for the intended dog size and weight.
The examples of breeds given are for guidance only. There may be individual differences and deviations within a breed.

FAQ
Our foam cores are made from mattress-quality cold foam and are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. The cores are manufactured in Germany and are odorless. Because we are convinced of the stability of the core, we offer a 10-year guarantee on both variants. The guarantee does not apply if the foam core is damaged due to external influences or incorrect use (e.g. scratching, biting, excessive weight for the selected size, etc.).
The special foam is additionally refined with memory visco foam in the lying surface. This foam reacts to body heat and adapts to the shape of your dog's bed. This allows your dog to lie completely pressure-relieved. This foam is particularly useful for older dogs and those with back problems, HD, osteoarthritis or similar.
Tip: If you have a standard foam at home and would like to offer your gray snout even more comfort, we recommend combining it with our Moomin insert.
The underside of the cover consists of a woven fabric (similar to upholstered furniture). This must be made of air-permeable material so that the air can escape from the foam core. Otherwise the KUDDE would be rock hard. The fabric also provides the necessary ventilation for the core.
Yes, you can fit your KUDDE with a new cover at any time. The artificial leather, suede-look or protective cover always serves as the basis. If you order a fabric cover for your KUDDE, you simply pull it over the existing cover. If you order a new faux leather cover, you must first remove the old cover. All covers can therefore be combined.
You receive the KUDDE sustainably packaged in individual parts so that we save CO2 per package. It is modular so that you can buy other covers or inserts in a few years' time.
