This high-quality dog bed combines proven orthopaedic comfort with a unique terrycloth cover that absorbs moisture and gently dries your dog - all while he lies relaxed.
The Torka cover feels like a fluffy towel - only even softer. The longer, fine towelling bobbles hang down loosely. They give the fabric a cozy texture that you want to sink into immediately. While your dog lies relaxed, the fibers absorb moisture and gently rub the coat dry.
Inside, the tried-and-tested KUDDE foam core ensures healthy, orthopaedic lying comfort. The sturdy side edges provide perfect support for the head and neck when snoozing, while the lying surface relieves pressure on the joints and spine - a real plus for older or sensitive dogs. The water-repellent protective cover under the terry cloth protects the high-quality foam core from moisture and dirt. And because we know that everyday dog life can sometimes get wild: The cover is removable, washable and suitable for tumble drying at a moderate temperature.

Material Torka
Our high-quality terry cloth fabric is made from 100% polyester (PES). The looped structure of the fibers gives the cover a particularly soft feel, while also ensuring high absorbency. The fabric is suitable for allergy sufferers.
Nonwoven backing fabric
This KUDDE cover also features a spunbond fabric as the backing. The backing fabric is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853).
Water-repellent protective cover
The water-repellent protective cover protects the core or filling from moisture and dirt. The fabric used is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (TESTEX, Cert. No. ZH015 182853). Note: The protective cover is not designed to provide protection against incontinence.
Foam core
The foam core provides targeted support for the body and ensures a pressure-relieving sleeping surface. Depending on the model, either standard foam or memory foam is used. The foam used is manufactured in a facility certified according to OEKO-TEX® STeP (OETI, Cert. No. 22000745).

Suitable for allergy sufferers
The material does not provide a suitable habitat for fleas and mites, making it ideal for people with allergies and sensitive dogs.
For old dogs
Ideal for older dogs, dogs with osteoarthritis, HD or a heavy build. No pressure pain in the pelvic and hip area - even when lying down for long periods.
Care Instructions for Torka Fabric
Machine washable at 30°C on the delicate cycle. Close all zippers completely before washing. Can be tumble dried on a low heat setting. Do not iron, do not bleach, do not use fabric softener.
Water-repellent protective cover
Wipe with water and a mild detergent. Do not wash or dry. Note: Not suitable for use as incontinence protection.
Foam care
The foam core must not be washed or dried. If it comes into contact with liquid, allow it to dry completely before using it again.
Application note
Fabric covers must always be fitted over a base cover (artificial leather, vegan suede or rubberized protective cover) to protect the foam core from moisture and dirt. The water-repellent protective cover is automatically included with KUDDE fabric beds.

To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. This measurement should not exceed the size of the lying surface!

Frequently asked questions about the KUDDE dog bed
Our foam cores are made from mattress-quality cold foam and are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. The cores are manufactured in Germany and are odorless. Because we are convinced of the stability of the core, we offer a 10-year guarantee on both variants. The guarantee does not apply if the foam core is damaged due to external influences or incorrect use (e.g. scratching, biting, excessive weight for the selected size, etc.).
The special foam is additionally refined with memory visco foam in the lying surface. This foam reacts to body heat and adapts to the shape of your dog's bed. This allows your dog to lie completely pressure-relieved. This foam is particularly useful for older dogs and those with back problems, HD, osteoarthritis or similar.
Tip: If you have a standard foam at home and would like to offer your gray snout even more comfort, we recommend combining it with our Moomin insert.
The underside of the cover consists of a woven fabric (similar to upholstered furniture). This must be made of air-permeable material so that the air can escape from the foam core. Otherwise the KUDDE would be rock hard. The fabric also provides the necessary ventilation for the core.
Yes, you can fit your KUDDE with a new cover at any time. The artificial leather, suede-look or protective cover always serves as the basis. If you order a fabric cover for your KUDDE, you simply pull it over the existing cover. If you order a new faux leather cover, you must first remove the old cover. All covers can therefore be combined.
No, a free insert is not included with every KUDDE dog bed. Please check your desired product before purchasing to see whether an insert is included or must be ordered separately.
You receive the KUDDE sustainably packaged in individual parts so that we save CO2 per package. It is modular so that you can buy other covers or inserts in a few years' time.
