Material vegan cuddly fur
Our vegan cuddly fur is made of 100% high-quality polyester with a basis weight of approx. 360 g/m². The fine knitted structure ensures a dense, fluffy surface - without any animal fur. It is soft, warm and robust enough for everyday use with dogs. The material is REACH-compliant, tested for harmful substances and manufactured in Europe to high quality standards.

Foam dog bed KUDDE
The high-quality, environmentally friendly foam complies with OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1, is odorless, offers perfect body support, long durability and good ventilation. Only water-soluble adhesive is used - without evaporation or unpleasant odors. The foam is available in two versions: KUDDE Standard and KUDDE Special (with visco-foam and memory effect).

The KUDDE dog bed is anatomically designed. It provides optimum support for your dog's body and promotes a healthy lying position - for restful, pain-free sleep.

Hypoallergenic, free of harmful substances and REACH-compliant - ideal for sensitive dogs and allergy sufferers.
Care vegan cuddly fur
The cover is machine washable at 30 °C on a gentle cycle. Please close zippers before washing. Dry gently in the tumble dryer at a moderate temperature or in the air. No bleaching, no ironing, no fabric softener. Lightly brush the fur after drying to keep it soft and fluffy.
Water-repellent protective cover
The protective cover can be wiped clean with water and a mild detergent - please do not wash or dry. Attention: Not suitable for incontinence!
Foam care
The foam core must not be washed or dried. If it comes into contact with liquid, allow it to dry completely before using it again.
Application note
The cuddly fur cover should always be used over the water-repellent base cover to provide optimum protection for the foam core. Direct sunlight and strong heat sources can cause color changes - so please do not place it in the sun permanently.
To find the right size for your dog, measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. This measurement should not exceed the size of the lying surface!
Each KUDDE dog bed has its own foam density, which is only suitable for the intended dog size and weight.

Frequently asked questions about the KUDDE dog bed
Our foam cores are made from mattress-quality cold foam and are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. The cores are manufactured in Germany and are odorless. Because we are convinced of the stability of the core, we offer a 10-year guarantee on both variants. The guarantee does not apply if the foam core is damaged due to external influences or incorrect use (e.g. scratching, biting, excessive weight for the selected size, etc.).
The special foam is additionally refined with memory visco foam in the lying surface. This foam reacts to body heat and adapts to the shape of your dog's bed. This allows your dog to lie completely pressure-relieved. This foam is particularly useful for older dogs and those with back problems, HD, osteoarthritis or similar.
Tip: If you have a standard foam at home and would like to offer your gray snout even more comfort, we recommend combining it with our Moomin insert.
The underside of the cover consists of a woven fabric (similar to upholstered furniture). This must be made of air-permeable material so that the air can escape from the foam core. Otherwise the KUDDE would be rock hard. The fabric also provides the necessary ventilation for the core.
Yes, you can fit your KUDDE with a new cover at any time. The artificial leather, suede-look or protective cover always serves as the basis. If you order a fabric cover for your KUDDE, you simply pull it over the existing cover. If you order a new faux leather cover, you must first remove the old cover. All covers can therefore be combined.
No, a free insert is not included with every KUDDE dog bed. Please check your desired product before purchasing to see whether an insert is included or must be ordered separately.
You receive the KUDDE sustainably packaged in individual parts so that we save CO2 per package. It is modular so that you can buy other covers or inserts in a few years' time.
