All fabric covers can be removed and washed in the washing machine.
However, artificial leather covers, covers made from vegan suede and protective covers (e.g. rubber covers) should not be machine washed. They are particularly easy to clean and can simply be wiped clean with a damp cloth - if necessary with mild cleaning agents such as our KUDDE special cleaner.
The foam upholstery must also not be washed! In general, the foam materials should not come into contact with liquids. If a mishap does occur, treatment with an enzyme cleaner will help. Then allow the upholstery to dry thoroughly before putting the cover back on.
Young dogs can often use a standard bed, while older or sick dogs benefit from an orthopaedic bed with extra support for the joints. Dogs with osteoarthritis or other joint problems in particular need extra padding.
