Foam dog bed KUDDE
We use high-quality and environmentally friendly foam. Complies with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Class 1, fine, neutral odor, perfect body support, long life, good ventilation. Only water-soluble glue is used, so there are no evaporations or unpleasant odors. The foam is available in two versions, KUDDE Standard and KUDDE Special. Both are in mattress quality, the KUDDE Special has a visco-foam with memory effect in the lying surface.
Material insert HYGGE PAD
Our HYGGE PAD has a teddy plush top side that is particularly soft and cuddly. It is made of 100% polyester, is lined with a fluffy fleece and has an anti-slip coating on the underside.
Suitable for allergy sufferers
Ideal for allergic dogs - not a suitable habitat for fleas and mites.

Care of artificial leather cover
Simply wipe with water or a mild detergent. The best combination is created with the special cleaner and KUDDE balm as care - the cover must not be cleaned in the washing machine!
Care pad HYGGE PAD
Our HYGGE PAD interlining can be washed on a gentle cycle up to 40 °C and is suitable for tumble drying at a low temperature. Please do not use fabric softener and set a maximum spin speed of 800 rpm.
Foam care
The foam core must not be washed or dried. If it comes into contact with liquid, allow it to dry completely before using it again!

Note
Please do not expose the faux leather cover to direct sunlight for long periods (e.g. in a conservatory or near a large window front). Intense UV radiation can dry out the material over time, discolor it or damage the surface.
Find the right size
To find the right size, measure your dog from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. This length should be smaller than the longest side of the KUDDE lying surface so that your dog can stretch out. If this is not the case, choose the next size up. For puppies, it is best to use the parents or our breed recommendations as a guide. Please note that the breed examples given are for guidance only. There may also be variations within a breed, depending on the conformation and individual differences. It is therefore particularly important to measure your dog before buying a dog bed in order to find the right size.
The edge of every KUDDE dog bed is always 15 cm high and the base plate is always 5 cm thick.

Frequently asked questions about the KUDDE dog bed
Our foam cores are made from mattress-quality cold foam and are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certified. The cores are manufactured in Germany and are odorless. Because we are convinced of the stability of the core, we offer a 10-year guarantee on both variants. The guarantee does not apply if the foam core is damaged due to external influences or incorrect use (e.g. scratching, biting, excessive weight for the selected size, etc.).
The special foam is additionally refined with memory visco foam in the lying surface. This foam reacts to body heat and adapts to the shape of your dog's bed. This allows your dog to lie completely pressure-relieved. This foam is particularly useful for older dogs and those with back problems, HD, osteoarthritis or similar.
Tip: If you have a standard foam at home and would like to offer your gray snout even more comfort, we recommend combining it with our Moomin insert.
The underside of the cover consists of a woven fabric (similar to upholstered furniture). This must be made of air-permeable material so that the air can escape from the foam core. Otherwise the KUDDE would be rock hard. The fabric also provides the necessary ventilation for the core.
Yes, you can fit your KUDDE with a new cover at any time. The artificial leather, suede-look or protective cover always serves as the basis. If you order a fabric cover for your KUDDE, you simply pull it over the existing cover. If you order a new faux leather cover, you must first remove the old cover. All covers can therefore be combined.
You receive the KUDDE sustainably packaged in individual parts so that we save CO2 per package. It is modular so that you can buy other covers or inserts in a few years' time.
